The black trumpet (Craterellus cornucopioides), grows in coniferous forests and is one of the last mushrooms to appear in autumn, almost at the edge of winter.
The colour and the funnel-shaped body are its two main characteristics.
They can be mixed into soups, risottos or fine purées.
